1. Agreement to Terms
By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by these Terms. These apply to all users, including browsers, vendors, and customers. If you do not agree to all terms, you may not access the website or use our services.

2. Products, Samples, and Natural Variations
Important: The Necessity of Samples
Visual Accuracy: We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate. Screen quality and lighting can affect the true composition of our products.
Mandatory Samples: We advise all customers to order a sample first to see the true color and texture. Failure to order a sample before placing a full order will invalidate our returns procedure regarding color or texture disputes.
Sample Limits: Samples are limited to one of each product type per customer. We use automated systems to detect and cancel duplicate sample orders.
Dimensional Tolerances As with all natural stone products, manufacturing tolerances must be accepted. Our stones and bricks will vary in size from one to the next. By purchasing, you accept the following size tolerances:
Length & Width: +60mm to -60mm.
Thickness: +30mm to -20mm.
3. Orders, Pricing, and Business Customers
Business Customers: By definition, a business customer (ordering via business email, billing address, or bank account) is not entitled to refunds when placing orders, as per our refund policy.
Right to Refuse: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time, including limiting sales to specific geographic regions or limiting quantities per person.
Pricing: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
4. Delivery, Inspection, and Damages
24-Hour Inspection Rule: You must inspect your goods immediately upon delivery. Any reports of defective, damaged, or missing items must be made via email to sales@northeastbrickslips.co.uk within 24 hours of receipt.
Evidence Required: You must provide an image of the products still secured to the pallet.
Installation Liability: We accept no third-party liability for incorrect goods that have been installed or used. Once a product is installed, it is non-refundable.
5. Installation and Project Planning
Do Not Book Early: We advise all customers not to book or plan installation until the goods have been received in full, inspected, and accounted for.
Liability: We do not accept liability for loss of earnings, delays in installation, or third-party costs resulting from shipping delays or damaged goods.
Staff Advice: While our staff will do their best to provide advice on quantities and installation, this is an opinion based on experience and not a guarantee. We accept no liability for errors in these estimates; all measurements and methods should be double-checked by the consumer or their professional installer.
6. Returns and Refunds
Restocking Fees: Refunds are free of "re-stocking" or "re-packing" fees.
Shipping Costs: All refunds are made minus the cost of the original delivery. Customers are responsible for the cost of their own return shipping.
Consumables: We allow returns of consumables provided they meet our return criteria.

7. User Conduct & Liability
Prohibited Uses: You may not use our products for illegal purposes or violate any laws in your jurisdiction. You are prohibited from transmitting viruses, scraping data, or interfering with the security of the site.
Limitation of Liability: In no case shall North East Brick Slips Ltd (and its directors or employees) be liable for any injury, loss, or consequential damages (including lost profits) arising from your use of the service or products.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
9. User Comments, Feedback & Submissions
Our Rights to Your Submissions: If you send us specific submissions (like contest entries) or creative ideas, suggestions, or plans (whether requested or not), you agree that we may edit, copy, publish, distribute, and use them in any medium without restriction. We are not obligated to keep these comments confidential, pay compensation, or respond to them.
Content Monitoring: We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to monitor, edit, or remove content that we determine is unlawful, offensive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or violates intellectual property or these Terms.
Your Responsibility: You agree that your comments will not violate any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, or privacy. Your comments must not contain libelous, unlawful, or abusive material, nor contain any computer viruses or malware.

Staff Advice & Project Estimates While our staff members will do their best to provide advice on products, installation methods, and quantity estimates, this is provided strictly as an opinion based on personal experience and context.
No Liability: We are unable to hold any liability for errors within this advice.
Customer Responsibility: Quantity workings and installation methods should always be double-checked by the consumer or the professional hired to install the products. Staff advice should not be deemed as accurate technical information.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
Service Usage
No Guarantees: We do not guarantee that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant that results obtained from the service will be accurate or reliable.
Right to Cancel: We may remove the service for indefinite periods or cancel it at any time without notice.
"As Is" Basis: You expressly agree that your use of the service is at your sole risk. All products and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any representation, warranties, or conditions of any kind (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, or title.
Limitation of Liability In no case shall North East Brick Slips Ltd, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, or suppliers be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or direct/indirect damages.
Scope: This includes, without limitation, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), or strict liability.
Exclusions: We are not liable for errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage incurred as a result of using the service or any product procured using the service.
Jurisdiction: In states or jurisdictions where the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages is not allowed, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
